No, Undead Labs has said they don't oppose modding since there is no PvP.
Does this work with Steam or the Epic Game Store?
No, account mods are only compatible with Xbox and the Microsoft Store.
Can I lose the outposts?
Yes, if you change maps or difficulties you will lose the outposts.
Anything I should know?
You won't get the effects for the outposts, just increased search speed and some safe zones. You also won't be able to abandon the outposts.
