If you haven't completed the bounty for an item but still want to use it - you can bypass the lock using this easy method.
- Step 1. Go to the item in your supply locker.
- Step 2. Press "A" to take. That will put it in your survivor's inventory.
- Step 3. Press "X" to equip the item from your inventory.
Done!
Be careful not to drop the item(s) or you won't be able to pick them back up without completing the bounty.
